This product is manufactured using Clad & Weld process with metallurgical bonding. It is NOT electroplated.

Metallurgical bonding creates a permanent atomic-level connection, ensuring superior reliability compared to electroplating. This enables excellent weldability, resistance to peeling during bending, and stable performance under thermal cycling conditions.

Copper Clad Steel Flat Wire

RAYTRON Copper Clad Steel Flat Wire is manufactured using advanced Clad & Weld process with metallurgical bonding between copper layer and steel core, tensile strength up to 850-1300MPa. Uniform copper layer thickness (10-30%), conductivity 20-40% IACS, density approximately 8.15 g/cm³. Suitable for overhead ground wires, grounding systems, and electrified railways requiring high mechanical strength. Grounding lifespan up to 30 years. Compliant with ASTM B227.
